CommentLocated near South Kingstown border 550 feet north of Stony Fort Road where it bends sharply south. Feb. 27, 1880 James Arnold, his #4, described it as lying on Peleg Lawton's land, northwest of his house, in the extreme corner of the town on a rising knoll. Lot entirely unprotected. No doubt the plow has removed many other graves as it has in years past been run too close. Arthur James in the Arnold collection called it the Eber Sherman place.
