Off south side of Oak Hill Rd, in woods behind South County Nursing Center Follow dirt road behind pole 7, branch to right. Lot lies about 600' from Oak Hill Pond. There are no marked stones in this yard, only about 20 fieldstone graves. George Gardiner in his book Lafayette mentions on pg 232, that Geroge T. Cranston's great grandfather, a Revolutionary War soldier, was buried at Oak Hill. It is possible that this could be an early Cranston lot since the family owned a farm near Kettle Hole Pond farther south.
