According to a long time resident who lives nearby, this graveyard was buried under earth about 1917. It lies about 40 feet south of Stony Lane in the center of a soccer field. Arnold described it on 24 July 1882, his #152, as lying "on land of Mr. Rathbun north of his house." Arnold notes what would seem to be two other burial lots, although his does not number them as separate yards. Presumably their fate was similar to the Jacoy lot. "Outside yard west end, 9 graves all with rude stones." "North of here a space 5 graves which we are told were blacks names to us unknown." (Research indicates that this was the burial ground of a black family named Brown living in the area.) Recorded by Althea McAleer, Beatrix Hoffius, and Deby Nunes for a 1992 book on North Kingstown cemeteries.
