Located in Wickford, off a lane east side of 21 W. Main. Lane runs north along a stone wall which appears on the right. Wall turns abruptly to right. Lot lies in brushy field entered through break in wall just after turn. Holes suggest exhumation. This is probably the Cooper family lot, since much of the land was owned by various Coopers in the 18th century. James Arnold visited this lot 1 May 1881, his #93, "north of the Baptist Church Wickford in open lot no protection we find in a small yard these:" Recorded by Althea McAleer, Beatrix Hoffius, and Deby Nunes for a 1992 book on North Kingstown cemeteries. Capt. Edmund Cooper has been removed to Elm Grove Cemetery, NK026.
