Vineyard Lane, private road west of Tower Hill Rd. Permission to enter must be given. Contact David Symonds abutting property owner. Enclosed by a capped stone wall with iron gate and lies about 200' NW of Mr. Symond's house. Rampant vegetation. When Arnold visited this yard on 27 Feb 1880, his #7, "Mr. Oliver Gardner has prepared himself a new yard for his family a distance north west from his house and has walled it in a workmanlike manner." Recorded by Althea McAleer, Beatrix Hoffius, and Deby Nunes for a 1992 book on North Kingstown cemeteries. Another cemetery of his ancestors, Arnold #6 (NK321) contained 18 large and 16 smaller graves marked by fieldstones. Mr. Gardner said his great great grandparents were there with members of their families. Arnold located it southwest of Gardner's house, the foundations of which can still be found behind Mr. Symond's house. This lot could not be found in 1990. Oliver Gardner's grandparents are buried on the "Roome" farm (see NK321)
