CommentGeroge H Richardson recorded this lot in 1903. "A burying ground , probably Turner, was at one time about 600 feet (a little east of north) from the house of Herbert Ward on 'Honeyman's' Ave, in Middletown, RI 1903." "7 rude stone no inscription" "Several years ago there was a stone on which was 'Abigail Turner' it has disappeared." "Note - Lawrence Turner abt 1700 owned land in this vicinity which is not far east from this ground perhaps a part of his original grant."
