Commentrecorded by George H Richardson in 1891. Capt Robert Weidington's house stood to the south of this ground. West of Hanging Rock. Many rude stones with no records. Philip Smith and his wife were removed from this ground where they were found by Alfred Smith many years ago to the Chase Farm where they are now, May 1906. Relocated by Jorden E. Kerber of the Public Archaeology Lab during a 1989 archaelogy workshop conducted at the Norman Bird sanctuary.
