CommentOriginally at the corner of West Main Rd. and Forest Ave. on the J Gould property adjacent to the John Briggs Gould Lot MT054. It was moved to The Island Cemetery prior to the George Richardson transcript of 1880. The lot in NT001 was purchased in 1877 by S. D. Gould [probably Sarah D (Barnaby) Gold. Gravestone photos in the database were taken by Letty Champion in 2007 at the Island Cemetery (NT001) in Newport.
