CommentMentioned first in Ralph Soucy's work: "Unlisted Lincoln August 24, 1979. Name unknown this date . About 1000' from Rte 116 across A. T. Cross, on top sand bank. Four unmarked, but shaped stones obviously planted* on end, pointed end down - and at least two depressions obviously as result of cave-in. Lincoln Police & A T Cross officials notified." *Planted stones: Portion of stone is discolored from ground action on surface while top of stone shows siggns of weathering. John P Di Cola mentions it in his work also as 100 yards North of pole #122 off Route 116 (Washington Highway). He lists condition as very poor and no stones visible. Roger Beaudry surveyed area on March 11, 1995. No indication of any burial ground could be found in the area surveyed. Much excavation has taken place in the area and lot could simply have been taken away.
