CommentCemetery was surveyed by Roger Beaudry on January 7, 1995. Cemetery is located to the rear of the Blackstone Valley Electric Co office adjacent to their parking lot. All indications are that the electric company takes great pride in this lot. The stones appear to have been reset, and the lot mowed. A survey was done by Grace G Tillinghast on Sept 3, 1932 who described it as, "Near new road, 1932 in orchard." This transcript is in Arnolds records Volume 15, page 145. Lot was also surveyed by Ethel M White who describes it as follows: "Great Road - Lincoln to Limerock - Manton Farm - turn right - come to junction - Washington Highway. Cemetery in rear of farm" The end of her transcription also contains the following two notes. NOTE: Capt John Jenckes was husband of Deborah Gell, the cruel woman in story "Three Holes in the Chimney" NOTE: Constant Round, b. Mar 26, 1785, his son Alvah Round, b. Nov 20, 1809, his son Warren Round and his son Warren Jr and his son Merrill Round- 5 generations, lived in this house. Transcibed by Ron Farrar who described lot as follows: "George Washington Highway, rear or B.V.E."
