CommentThis cemetery is located at the intersection of Eddy Dowling Highway (Route 146) and the Route 295 overpass. It is on the easterly side of Route 146 and is on the median strip between the North and South lanes of Route 295. It is adjacent to LN007. This lot was surveyed by Roger Beaudry on December 26, 1994. At that time it was in a run down condition, and badly overgrown with trees, briars, and weeds. Previous surveys were done by James Arnold date unknown who recorded both this lot and LN007 as one lot and listed it in his work in Volume 15 page 146. He described it as follows: "Albion Section. On hill near fork of road. Louisquisset Pike." EDITOR'S NOTE: Prior to the building of Route 295 in the late 1960's, Albion Road crossed Route 146 near this point. The name Louisquisset Pike, although still used by many people, was formally changed to the Eddy Dowling Highway during the 1970's. Dr F.T. Calef MD also transcribed this lot and merged it with LN007. He gave it the designation of LOT 2 and it is listed in his work on pages 3-5. He describes it simply as follows: "South-east from previous yard." Ethel M White also transcribed lot and described it as: "Ballou family-junction of road going towards Albion."
