CommentTHIS BURYING GROUND NO LONGER EXSISTS. It is mentioned in the 1744 will of Eseck Carr when he gave his whole estate to his son Robert "excepting my Burying Place where I have buryed my dead near my dwelling house." He directed his son to erect a stone wall around the graves, an area of one quarter of an acre. In 1766 when Robert sold the burying ground to Samuel Gray he described the BG as 36 square rods, about one quarter acre. This BG, located in the Holly Meadows neighborhood has not been found yet.
