CommentThis cemetery is located 100 feet west of Stone Hill Road and just south of the parking lot of Home Depot. James N. Arnold recorded this lot 54) – May 10, 1891. (Bk. 2, pg. 78) (JN062). β€œOn the west side of the road leading from Hughesdale to Pocasset and some distance back from the road a burial lot a portion of which is protected by granite posts and iron rails – lot in fine order.” Recorded by James N Arnold 20 May 1910: "on farm back of the town poor farm beside woods, lot protected by granite posts and iron rails, in good order, are 6 graves" 7 Jul 1932 Grace G Tillinghast added the 2 Sheldons.
