Sayles #41. Just west of Marion Irons Beach (Coomer Pond). Stone wall on W, N & E sides with a granite post & iron bar fence on S side. Benns #79 (Vol I, page 89-90), "Irons & Steere, Gloucester, RI" Tombstone records compiled by Henry Sayles, former Town Clerk of Gloucesterfor 23 years. Record copied by Serril W Nicholas 1938, (Vol 13, page 39-40). "Stephen C Irons Burying Ground is on the Snake Hill Road riding from the old stone Episcopal Church to the Connecticut Line about 1/4 mile East of Central School House, near Coman's Reservoir."
