CommentSouth of house at end of orchard near fence separating land from Fogarty School. East of Theodore Foster Dr. Note: The above referenced house was torn down. We entered through a hole in the fence that surrounds this old Nike Site compound located at the end of the road. Property enclosed belongs to Town of Foster. This cemetery is in poor condition. There is no marker and only 2 stones remain in place. 2 are leaning against a fallen tree and one is against the stone wall. The cemetery itself appears to be divided by a wall with the stone of Elisa on the south side of the wall and the stones for the others on the north. There is evidence of some field stone markers in the southern portion. There was no military marker. All of the markers are slate, most are broken to one extent or another. We read 4 of the stones, the 5 th was leaning too far over to read but was probably Stephen.
