CommentJames Arnold transcribed this lot 21 Mar 1880 (his #12) "A short distance from the two yards above (EX114 & EX126) as described is an old Sherman burial ground where we find 20 large and 12 small graves with rude stones and two on which we read…" probably off Dawley Rd in the wildlife refuge. Possibly EX141. This is #A7 in the book on Exeter cemeteries.
