CommentThis cemetery has not been found. It is presented here in hopes that future researchers are able to use this information to find it. James N. Arnold was informed of this lot on 9 Aug. 1905, “On the Plainfield Pike west of last road running North towards Foster, at the foot of the hill was the old Shaw farm, was burial ground of the Shaw family. Only a few graves marked by field stones. Have been told they have been taken up and removed elsewhere” (Vol. 6, Book B, page 1160).
