CommentThe Obadiah Johnson Lot is located 400 feet south of Harkney Hill Road at telephone pole #126. Follow the drive south of Harkney Hill Road at pole #126 to house #2641. The cemetery is 40 feet east of the drive. This lot is 35 ft x 35 ft, in good condition, and has no enclosure. There are 16 burials with four inscribed stones and 13 fieldstones. James N. Arnold visited this lot on 25 Jul. 1905 and commented, “On the farm known as Obadiah Johnson's, back from the road in brush lot, and south west of Quidneck Pond, no protection” (Vol. 6, Book A, page 1006). Found, registered and recorded by Dr. Bill Eddleman and John Sterling for a 1998 book on Coventry cemeteries.
