| Comment | This lot is 2000 feet west of Nick Whitford Trail. Go about 1/2 mile south of Perry Hill Road on Nick Whitford Trail to old house ruin. Take the trail to the right (west) about 3/8 mile to just the other side of the drainage (where the trail runs close to Whitford Pond). The cemetery is about 1000 feet south of the trail, overlooking the pond, and about 250 feet west of the main north arm of the pond. The cemetery is 30 ft x 30 ft, in good condition, and has no enclosure. There are 11 burials, eight marked by fieldstones.
James N. Arnold visited this cemetery on 16 Aug. 1905 and noted, “On the Cornell farm a distance from the Whitford farm, on knoll in midst of pine grove, all marked by field stones, 11 graves, unknown” (Vol. 6, Book C, page 1254).
