The Friends Burial Ground is located 10 feet north of Meeting Street at telephone pole #4. This Quaker Church cemetery is located next to the road just west of the Friends Church built in 1824, which is today (1997) occupied by the Polish National Alliance Lodge #1001. The cemetery is 60 ft x 180 ft, in good condition, and enclosed with a metal fence with an iron gate. The historic cemetery sign is in good condition. There are 42 burials all marked with inscribed stones. James N. Arnold visited this cemetery on 5 Oct. 1905 and commented, “At the Friends Meeting House, Anthony is a burial lot..Beside this yard is one fenced with iron which lot is in good order” (Vol. 6, Book E, page 1318). Both of these are portions of the burial ground. Charles and Martha Benns transcribed this cemetery in 1941, their #907. Amelia K. Whitford also transcribed this lot. Recorded by Dr. Bill Eddleman and John Sterling for a 1998 book on Coventry cemeteries
