CommentThe Tomas Cruff lot is located 20 feet west of Knotty Oak Road at telephone pole # 66, next to E. Greene Fruit Farm. The cemetery is 50 ft x 70 ft, in fair condition, and enclosed with a stone wall with an iron gate. The historic cemetery sign is in good condition. There are 25 burials with nine inscribed stones and five fieldstones. James N. Arnold visited on 6 Oct. 1905 and noted , “On road leading North from Anthony on the old Tom Cruff farm near corner of road, lot walled, in fine order, yard same” (Vol. 6, Book E, page 1325). Arthur James transcribed this cemetery in 1930. Charles and Martha Benns in 1933, their #204. Amelia K. Whitford also transcribed this cemetery. Recorded by Dr. Bill Eddleman and John Sterling for a 1998 book on Coventry cemeteries
