This lot is located 10 feet south of Hope Furnace Road at telephone pole # 35, just over stone wall at #242 Hope Furnace Road. The cemetery is 20 ft x 20 ft, in good condition, and has no enclosure. The historic cemetery sign is missing. There are eight burials with three inscribed stones and one fieldstone. James N. Arnold visited this lot on 19 Oct.1904 and noted, “Beside the line road, West of Hope about 1-1/2 miles from village; lot not protected, yard in good order” (Vol. 6, Book J, page 1420-A). Amelia K. Whitford also transcribed this cemetery. Recorded by Dr. Bill Eddleman and John Sterling for a 1998 book on Coventry cemeteries
