The Franklin cemetery is located on the north side of Flat River Road at telephone pole # 366. The cemetery is 60 ft x 60 ft, in excellent condition, and enclosed with granite posts and iron rails with a chain gate. The historic cemetery sign is in good condition. There are 27 burials with 17 inscribed stones. Emma B. Shaw and Sarah W. Knight visited this lot on 19 November 1927 and noted, “Road leading west from Washington Village toward Summit, right hand side of road. Yard walled and in good order” (in Arnold records, Vol. 6, Book J, page 1444). Charles and Martha Benns transcribed this lot in 1938, their #793. Amelia K. Whitford also transcribed this lot. Recorded by Dr. Bill Eddleman and John Sterling for a 1998 book on Coventry cemeteries
