Comment | This cemetery is located 250 feet north of Plainfield Pike at telephone pole #108. Enter on the road west of the brook at Pole #108 and proceed 250 feet north. The cemetery is 100 feet west of the brook. It is 50 ft x 45 ft, in excellent condition, and enclosed with a stone wall with an iron gate. The historic cemetery sign is in good condition. There are 35 burials with 17 inscribed stones. It is on the tax assessor’s map #320, Lot #21.01.
James N. Arnold visited on 8 Aug. 1905 and noted, “On the Fairbank place on Plainfield Pike west of Mossup River, in sight of road, lot well walled and face not pointed, yard in fine order” (Vol. 6, Book B, p. 1127).
