| Comment | The Vaughn Cemetery is located 600 feet west of Barbs Hill Road at telephone pole #31. It is 35 ft x 35 ft, in fair condition, and enclosed with granite posts and iron rails. The historic cemetery sign is in good condition. There are 15 burials with seven inscribed stones. It is on the tax assessor’s map #320, lot #41.1.
James N. Arnold visited on August 7, 1905 and noted, “On the Vaughn place near his saw mill, on knoll, lot fenced with granite posts and iron rods, yard in good order” (Vol. 6, Book B, page 1115).
