This lot is located 60 feet east of the house at #10 Bain St. between the house and where the railroad tracks used to run. The cemetery shows on the 1867/8 plat map #88. The home owner say there have not been any gravestones visable in the 20 years he has lived there. See Wiliam Pitcher 1841 deed to Jeremiah Fenner (vol 15, pp. 375/6)"…reserving a lot of land for a burying place for myself, my wife and children when the burying place now is on said and bounded by the following lines viz. beginning at the southeast corner of land heretofor conveyed by me to the grantee hence easterly as the fence now stands seventy feet to a stone set in the ground thence northerly at right angles with the first line forty feet then westerly parallel with the first line seventy feet thence southerly forty feet to the first mentioned place of beginning with a privilege passing to and from the road to the same, doing as little damage as may be." James Arnold recorded this lot 12 Oct 1890 (Vol 3, Pg 159) At Arlington beside the railroad the west side against which fence it abuts, a burial yard of the Pitcher family, yard fenced yet much neglected.
