Located behind #2233 Situate Avenue 930 feet north of the road. Ten of the Knights were removed to Greenwood Cemetery in Coventry (CY059) after 1904 (when James Arnold recorded Greenwood Cemetery) and before 1954 when the current owner purchased the property. The previous owners named Hughes purchased the land in 1905. The Knight graves were probably moved shortly after this date. The present owner discovered four gravestones on the ground near the barn and mortared into the chimney. The exact location of the cemetery is not known, but the current owner, Simon V. DerMksian, built a stone wall in 1997 and reset the four remaining stones in an appropriate area behind his orchard. The fate of the six Sweet stones and the Tillinghast children is not known. James Arnold visited this lot 5 Jul 1891 (Vol 2, Pg 180) On the Elder Richard Knight farm on rear of his house, lot not very well protected, but which we understand the family intend to restore the yard to first class order.
