CommentJames Arnold visited this lot 22 Sep 1890 (Vol 3, Pg 61) At the corner of the Elmdale Road with Broad St. (southwest corner) in rear of the house and on a brow of hill was once a burial yard containing quite a number of graves, among others that of Stephen Arnold and wife who died very early in the last century and Stephen and wife were carried to the new cemetery lot at Swan Point.
