Bicknell describes this as a family burial ground for the Allin family, large land-owners in the Drownville part of town. He mentions six Revolutionary veterans buried here, including Scipio Freeman a former slave of the family. See Bicknell, pp. 470-471. Transcribed by Benns #246. It is presently (1994) opposite a high water tower.
