NotesJames Arnold noted that a field stone grave in this lot is "probably that of John Absolom Jr. who was hung for the murder of Thomas King in 1759." Stephen Thillinghast in his diary indicated that he went to the execution on 18 Nov 1757. John Absolom was a native American.
