FS "Capt Andrew Willett 1712" LICHEN COVERED Son of Thomas Willett, 1st mayor of NY, one of the original landholders in area. Thomas died in 1674 in Barrington, now Riverside, RI, formerly part of Massachusetts. He is buried in Little Neck Cemetery in Riverside. Willett Avenue, one of the main streets in that town is named for him.
