A letter and invoice dated 20 September 1765 from John Turner & son acknowledges the shipment of "white tomb Stone." see David Mayer Gradwohl's book "Like Tablets of the Law Thrown Down" for more information on this and other stones in this cemetery. [born in Spain to a family of Crypto Jews]
