RIHC list says 9/19/62 -- Cemetery remains being reinterred in Acotes Hill Cemetery (Gloucester) -- 19 in a single grave with a bronze marker. The gravestones were all ground up as part of the moving process. James N. Arnold recorded this lot his #9 Mar. 22, 1891. (Bk. 1, pg. 121). JN020 “The Greene burial yard near the Greek Tavern.” “On the Old Killingly road east side near the famed Greek Tavern now Elm House same? Some distance though in plain sight of the road a burial yard of the Greene family.” The cemetery was on a small high mound left in the middle of the gravel bank operated by the Santoro Sand and Gravel Co. off Killingly St. at Oakdale Ave.
