This cemetery was originally in Rehoboth, MA. In 1812 the western half of Rehoboth was set off as a separate township called Seekonk, Ma. In 1862 the western part of Old Seekonk was ceeded to Rhode Island and was incorporated as East Providence, RI. It is 10.25 acres. Copied in 1850 by David Jillson; 1932 by Marion Pearce Carter, 1970s by Robert Trim, and by Ira Peck about 1860. Most photos by Julie Nathanson 2008-2009. Others by Vincent Luti about 1980 and John Sterling in 1995.
